A lot of kids get involved in their music scenes because it gives them a place to go when they don’t fit in with anyone else. Making those connections is important. Personally, this idea of giving a home to the homeless, so to speak, it is where I feel my life should be at all times.
The concept of going “Beyond Your Scene” is that, in my strong opinion, music is not what life is about. Loving people, caring for the needy, and loving God - to me, as a Christian, this is what life is about.This is where hope is found.
Right now, this is just a place to read some cool band interviews. But hopefully, people are somehow encouraged to live by something beyond themselves - beyond their scenes.
